Courtney Clark Racing

My name is Courtney Clark, I am 17 years old & attend Minooka Community High School. I have always enjoyed anything that has involved speed. I got my first motorcycle when I was 6 years old & have owned some type of motorized vehicle ever since. I started racing Go Karts in July 2011 at Jet Karting in Norway, IL. I initially started racing on the Friday Night Rental League & got hooked so I emptied my savings account & bought my own go kart so that I could club race. Although the season was well under way, that did not stop me, I started racing anyway. This year, I will be racing on 2 tracks; Michiana Raceway Park located in South Bend, IN & Concept Haulers Speedway located in Norway, IL.

Besides Go Kart racing I am on the Cascade Mountain Snow Ski Race Team out of Wisconsin. I have been snow skiing since I was 4 years old & on the race team now for 2 years. I have also played school sports such as Basketball, Soccer & Track. I have been in the Environmental & Guitar Club along with a member of TSA (Technology Student Association) where I hold a position as state officer. My main study in school my Junior & Senior year will be Welding, however I have also been focusing on Technology & Small Engine Repair. I also enjoy boating, water skiing & knee boarding.

Five years ago, I began cutting grass, snow removal & dog sitting to earn money. For the past 2 summers, I worked at JET Karting @ Michiana Raceway Park on off race weekends to learn more about racing & to also help pay for my kart racing expenses
